PCOS and weight loss

I have always been heavy getting as high as 238 pounds. The doctor diagnosed me with PCOS in 2003. It didnt bother me at first because I didnt want children at that time. Well fast forward 5 years and I started realizing how much I want motherhood. So I joined weight watchers and started going to the gym 3-5 times a week. Now I am 5'5 1/2" and weigh 174 pounds. Losing weigh over 50 pounds but now the weight loss is slowing and I believe it may have to do with the PCOS. I want to lose at least 20 more pounds. Knowing there is no set amount of weight to lose I just would like an ideal of how much I should lose before I can possibly get pregnant? How can I get my weight loss back on track?

Every story has an end but in life, every end is just a new beginning.

Miss Lady, you need to speak with your doctor. I am in the same situation right now and have an appointment to meet with a high risk pregnancy doctor because I am on blood pressure medication (due to my weight). Different factors affect individuals so please consult with your doctor to find out. Good luck!
