Asked about “PAP Test

PAP smear at the gyno's office

I had my annual pap smear test done today at the gynecologist's office. When I got home, I noticed some blood on my underwear. Is this normal?

This is normal. It could also have been that the doctor may have been more aggressive than you were used to.

Worship the Lord with thanksgiving and praise.  Let your heart rejoice and thank him for the joy He has given to you and me.  Ask Him to let your joy overflow to others today and everyday of your life.

Thank God for the great and glorious things He has done in your life.  Praise Him for His daily blessings and guidance.

Thank the Lord for His gift of grace and ask Him to help you share your faith and yur abundance with others.

God promises extraordinary results when we ask for his power.  Ask Him to reignite your fire and to refresh your spirit so you can do His work in your world.

Please let us love one another, show that we care for people and only hope for the best for everyone we meet, work with and live with.  We badly need a world filled with love, not hatred.

Hi,

It is normal to have some slight pinkish or slight bleeding after a Pap smear.  The vagina has a lot of small blood vessels and had been traumatized by the vaginal speculum used.  Do not worry about it, the bleeding will go  away.

Choosing a Method of Contraception When you are considering a method of contraception there are a couple of things you should ask yourself. When, if ever, do I want to become pregnant? What would becoming pregnant now mean to me? How effective do I want my contraceptive method to be? How likely am I to correctly use a particular method of contraception? How good am I at remembering? What, if any medical problems do I have that my health care professional should know about before I choose a method of contraception? Do I have any

Sample I realize this is of a private nature, but I also think there are a lot of women who don't take their reproductive health seriously enough. So maybe, in an off chance, my writing about my experience will help someone be less nervous about the whole thing, or inspire someone to start taking better care of themselves. Or, more likely, I'll satisfy someone's (probably a guy's) curiosity. I went to the OBGYN today for a follow-up Pap on a colposcopy. I was supposed to have it done months ago but I
