"WHAT IS DONE IN THE PAIN CLINICS FOR CHRONIC PAIN?

I've been treated for chronic pain, for over a year. My doctor, since 1991, has decided, that i need a physician/s wish more experience, with treating chronic pain. He's also changed the focus of his practice, from family practicioner, to WWW.FACETOFACIAL.COM he still sees patients, however, he doesn't want to see me anymore; because i have multiple medical problems. Additionally, i drove to his office in may, to have the prescription he'd written the day before, completed. I was asked to stop by officers, who because i'd hit a few curbs and swurved, decided that i couldn't drive myself home, and should have a friend pick me up. I agree with them. I was a bit tired, and the van was loaded down, with mulch, causing it to be more difficult to drive. Escorted inside, the office manager was asked to hold my keys. I wasn't ticketed, i hadn't caused any mishaps, we were all playing on the safe side. I waited and a friend picked me up, getting the keys from the office manager, somewhat i suppose, like he would, from a bar keeper. I knew my driving wasn't that awlful bad. I received the script, which the nurse, wrote #60 on it. I didn't pick up a certified letter, which i later found out, was from my doctor, written in may on the 21st. This incident happened around the 14th. I had an appointment with him on the 30th of may. He just filled out scripts and said, these should get you by. He didn't even look at me. It wasn't until i read the certified letter, that i learned, that he wasn't going to continue to be my doctor. I was shocked. I phoned a pain clinic, and made an appointment. I'd be considered i was told. My six months records would be reviewed first. Then, i found out that i was approved, because my doctor, had reerred me. He charge is $300.00. I am promised nothing! So i made an appointment to see my doctor again, before the ending date he'd put on the letter of the 25th. I did determine, after another misjudgement incident, while driving the van, home from church, and sideswiping a huge u-haul truck, improperly parked, and at an angle from the curb. Damage, was to the van i was driving. Insurance was telephoned. The police were summoned. A report was needed. Having finished that and looking over he area, i couldn't figure out, how i'd misjudged the other vehicle. My right hand, being in a lot of pain, was difficult to use, to quickly turn the wheel, and get the van, out and away from the truck. I spoke to the officer, and as he turned to leave, i asked him, if i was going to be given a ticket? He said, "no." I ASKED HIM WHY? He said, it was an officer's discresion, and mam, you do not deserve a ticket. They are parked improperly. I continued to think about his for hour. I decided to look through a drawer, for a comfortable pair of socks. In addition to the socks, i found the glasses case, that my son had left in 2003. I decided to try hem on. Well, there is no question, my eyesight improved with the corective lenses about 95% i was amazed. I'm not driving anymore, without the glasses. The problem is that my long term doctor, believed as i did, that the medication/s were the cause. He didn't think that the choices he'd made, were the best for me at this time. I have an appointment the 25th at 2 pm, for what seems to be, the last appointment i'll have. Discuss, referral to hand specialist and the report he sends, he'll write out prescriptions for me, and say good-bye. Or, with consideration, to the fact, that i needed to be wearing glasses, be enough reason, for him to reinstate me? I feel extremely uncomfortable. Also, what is meant, by the dea is coming down hard? The doctor said it, and the pharmacist, when i asked, said, oh yes, everything is being more tightly regulated. Is it possible, by my presenting myself, my discovery of corrective lenses needed, and ask, that i can keep my primary physician? He was taking me to his new practice, until this occured. All thoughts and ideas, will help me. A response, will be thoughtful.
