what happens to OX after tails are removed?
I'm pretty sure that the ox is slaughtered for all its meat. Ox roast is sold and eaten pretty much like roast beef. Ox tail is a cheap part of the ox but it makes great soup. I don't think you have to worry about live ox without tails.
Tails are removed when the animal is slaughtered The ox goes to ox heaven the ox tail goes in my soup.
