No, the problems are not society related, they are pharmaceutical drugs and hormones in our foods.
Every woman that is on birth control pills, or hormones of any kind, must urinate regularly. This hormone-laden effluent goes into the reclaimed water and ends up in our rivers, lakes and streams and right back into our drinking water. Present day filtration systems cannot filter out all the pharmaceuticals and hormones, so you have little boys growing breasts and little girls wanting sex when they are 12 years old.
All the meat we eat (except certified organic) are laden with hormones. There are growth hormones, lactation hormones, sexually activating hormones, take your pick. Our entire family eats these beef, chicken, fish, pork, etc. and the hormones are then stored in OUR fat.
I attribute the obesity of children AND adults to the growth and fattening hormones fed to our meat animals. Even our milk cows now have an added hormone to make them produce more milk. That cow has no choice but to have her bag dragging the ground because of greedy milk producers. These hormones go into the milk and into the bodies of little girls, boys and women.
You can educate the young people from now until forever, but a hormonal urge to mate is much stronger than anything a parent can say.
