Outlook 2007 calendar problems

problem with outlook2007 calendar. can't get my palm to sync with it, the recurring or meeting appointments always have to show my name in the entry

 and meeting appointments don't have the symbol it used to in 2003 outlook.  i'm very frustrated. someone please help!
