Oprah's Endorsement of Barack Obama

I think you're reducing two complete people and the people who follow them to a sort of simplified version of race and gender. I'd argue with you, but judging from your answers so far you wouldn't understand what I'm talking about anyway, so to answer in short, no, one has nothing to do with the other.

Oprah knows Obama way back, and it was pretty obvious she'll support him. 

Both came out of Chicago, not to mention that both do charity/community assist, type work. Shrillary was never known for such things.

Did you expect Oprah to endorse John McCain and Sarah Palin? It's not a matter of race, it's a matter of not endorsing someone who thinks the Earth and the Universe is 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs never existed.
