Thanks man, but not quite.  I need something that will let me post it on my site and I need to retain copyright.  And no Macs :(

I recently set up a blog using

Wordpress for the first time.  I was able to find a plug in called VideoPop that makes adding videos to the blog pretty easy.  I'm not sure if that is exactly what you need but it might be a start.

Thanks! I've been trying to use Flash, but the trial version doesn't seem to include the video encoder. Do you know anything about that by any chance?

The video tools that come with Flash 8 are quality.  They make it very easy to create a movie that is ready to be embeded in a web page.  However, if you are looking for a more streamlines solution you might want to avoid Flash.

What kind of site is it?

Yeah... actually, the site requires that the videos are stored in a database and are then streamed down to the client depending on what they want to see... I could store videos as files and then store file paths, but would rather store the entire file in the DB :\

Hmm...You might look into some of Flash's more advanced features.  Perhaps, using PHP, you could build a player that is able to pull video paths from a database.  I'm afraid I cannot contribute any more than that, though, as that is out of my realm of ability.
