Our yr old Shih Tzu was almost impacted today but when i called my vet he said to just give her pumpkin. She didn't show any interest in the pumpkin alone. Is there another way that i might serve it...I know karo syrup is often used in infants but i was NOT going to do anything until I heard from some one with some knowledge? She is also scooting like she does when her anal glands are full. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for all of your advice.
