How do you be in the Olympics? I mean if your a very good runner how does the country know you even exist

As a runner or an athlete you participate in local events, creating a name for yourself. Gradually, if you win, you compete your way iup to state events and national events, and if you're good enough and among the leading athletes, you have a good chance of getting into the Olympics.
