rox, did you read my response? That was my situation and my answer remains the same. You are going to want kids and a 40 year old woman is probably not going to be interested so if you can have a short term relationship (meaning nothing permanent) and then move on, by all means have at it.
I'm now 51 and when I think of the 37 year old woman I dated as 68, I can't possibly imagine us together. To put this in perspective, she has 2 daughters who are now 50 and 48. rox, she's been retired for 6 years and I've got 11+ years to go before I can retire.
A marriage is difficult enough (OK, I've got you at the alter and maybe that's a stretch) between people the same age and when you add a generation gap it just gets all that much harder. My advice, find yourself a nice girl your own age, hjust make sure she's not named roxanne also, that would really be confusing.
