Older log home repair

Ask Eric Stromer a question here. We live in southeast Texas. Our home is a log home built 20plus years ago and painted darl brown at that time. We do not know who made the logs and have a couple to replace but don't know how to go about it. Also need to refinish the outside badly... HELP  Robyn
