How long does it take an odor eliminating candle to completely remove cigar odor from a medium-sized room?
There are many factors in your question that are not clear
1. What is a medium sized room?
2. What is the type of the cigar which was smoked?
3. What candle was used?
4. Are there many types of furniture in the room?
5. Who often do people smoke cigars in that room?
6. Is there an open window in the room?
7. Is the candle lit all the time the cigar is smoked?
In my experience it takes a while but you must remember that people who do not smoke are more sensitive to the scent.

Depending on the qualities of the odor eliminating candle, it could be temporary or permanent. Most candles use a chemical that actually interferes with the nose's ability to pick up the scent of the odor. These work fairly quick but is actually just an illusion. Other higher quality candles work by encapsulating the molecule of the odor so that it is completely eliminated (Cuban Crafters candles use this method). This takes a little longer to work but within a few hours the smoke odor is completely and permanently gone. Hope this helps.
