Obsessed with my Cousin

I'm a 14-year old guy in love with my 16-year old first cousin.  We have like everything in common, she's really hot, and I can't stop thinking about her.  This has been going on for at least 3 years. My family would bitterly object if I even mentioned this, and I'd irrepairably damage what she might consider simply a friendship.  It's not just a little crush either--I'm absolutely obsessed with her.  I really can't tell anyone, so what should I do?  Please help me.  Thanks!

Hi ese3 well first of all having a crush is not bad but having a crush with your cousin is insane yeah it might sound wrong or mean that i say insane but that is the right word to be straight up with you and i think you should at least try to get away and try to get over the obsession you have because obsession is real bad and it can make you a lot of harm well just to finish up i just gotta say be careful and take care because i repeat it again obsession is real bad and don't want nothing to end up the bad way...Frown

Hi Ese3,
You missed a crucial information: What does she think about it ?.  If it's only you, better force yourself out of it.   If she feels in the same way that you feel you (both) have a HUGE problem and in that case I would strongly recommend that you (both) get a consultation from an experience psychologist.  Such realtions are not healthy and can lead to terrible troubles (genetically).   I have a strong feeling you fell in love with her maturity (you know what I mean !) and that she can "give" you much more than girls in your age would give...... so it's not real love..... If that's the case better wait until you'll find your true love.  Sorry to pour cold water on your hot dreams.

I highly doubt she feels the same way, and seeing a psychologist/psychiatrist wouldn't really be an option (until I'm 18, I get no confidentiality from my parents, I doubt they could do much more than I could on my own (I've picked up a good amount from my Dad since he's a psychiatrist), and I'd be too embarrassed anyway).  The one problem with your diagnosis is that my feelings toward her aren't sexual or erotic, they're simply that of an extremely close friendship, which leads me to believe it's love (more than a normal friendship, and I'm really obsessed and can't stop thinking about her).  Thanks for the help guys!
