A:

Because Democrats have promoted the thought process that the government needs to take care of them! They have to have that  power and control! Yet, when the time came for the Democrats in charge of the state to step up and take care of them they failed! Then tried to lay THEIR responsibility on Bush!

Nagin, and the Democratic governor should have been arrested for malfeasance. But, you will notice they had no trouble getting themselves out of New Orleans!

MRD Sir., you are completely correct. They had fair warning to leave New Orleans but instead they stayed, the first one to blame was G. W. Bush, all the years that thing needed to be done they were to busy on other projects that suited them. They still have no care of another big one hitting as has been predicted, and as usual they will blame that fact that all this should have been repaired in the Bush years. Nagin and his underlings should definitely be held responsible for all that transpired, the looting the deaths the levees not in full working shape, this was his job, one that he and the rest of the "Good ole Boys' neglected to do.
