The lowest servant in Heaven is still in Heaven.

Whoever rules in hell is still in hell, but they won't rule for long.

Per Yeddablue:

wow a 6 year Staff Nco ImpressBullshitive . You sure did accomplish a lot in so little time. How did you find the time to go from a 0331 to a scout sniper to picking up 2 purple hearths and then finally fitting in a Presidential tour of duty?

I did nothing that any motivated Marine could not do. But as so many before me have said, "To rise, do the difficult. To rise quickly, do the impossible." I rose quickly by leading effectively.

Tack on a stripe with each C level school, and you too could have done as I did. So, tell me, why did it take you over four years to earn your Sergeant stripes? I had mine tacked in at the end of three years and two months.

Now, if you suffer a disciplinary problem or fail to work at it, then I can see how you may have been passed over for promotion (or reenlistment).

As I look to my old friend, MGYSGT Raedel, who rose to E-9 in fifteen years, then I find nothing remarkable about my career. Anyone can do it if they are willing to invest a little effort, and make himself a better man.
