Well as if Obama hadn't slapped around the British enough last week, by returning the Winston Churchill bust which was given to the United States (if that is the case why can HE decide to send it back?) accepting a desk set from the HMS Resloute's sister ship (which was a anti-slave ship) in exchange for a 25 DVD movie set that doesn't work in England (Psyco,Star Wars etc.) And finally signed copies of famous English authors children's books for the Obama kids in exchange for a helicopter model from the White House gift shop for the Gordon boys.
Now a member of the Obama administration gets upset with questions about the British treatment by saying" they deserve no different treatment than our other 160 allies!) How many French,German,Swiss,Spanish and Italian troops are in Afghanistan? How many and how long did they stay in Iraq?
Wait a minute now I get it, that's the point! The Obama's are upset with the British BECAUSE they supported us and are in Afganhistan and Iraq! Now, we are going to punish them for being our staunchest ally!
Is this where we open ourselves up and mend fences with our allies, because we had such bad relations with them? I can see this working!
To say our bond with the British is NO different than any of our other allies, shows the ignorant (I know no other word to describe this) arrogant attitude of the Obama administration!
These are supposedly, repeat supposedly, intelligent ( most of them Ivy League) individuals, who prove that because you have a degree does NOT prove you are INTELLIGENT!
And,these people have the guts to rake Bush and his administration over the coals for their actions! Unbelievable!
I am a Marine Mom and have no appropiate answer for you all I can do is strongly agree with you! Hopefully we will see change in 4 years and not too much damage has been done with our allies. I will leave it at that and not get myself worked up over this useless administration.

I strongly agree with you as well. It comes down to common sense and basic respect which Obama and the rest of his administration greatly lacks. His priorities are extremely misplaced. When you hold a public office such as president your own desires come last. The American people and the United States are first. You need to do what is best for them. That is a concept the president is obviously misunderstanding.
