Obama's Polls Down, Trip Failed

The Gallup poll will announce -- they effectively have announced it -- the Gallup poll will announce that for the first time in their poll Barack Obama's approval rating has fallen below 50%.

In fact, a little story about this.  This from Ben Smith at The Politico: "His approval numbers have bounced down to the 50% mark several times, driven by weaker support from independents and Republicans, but hadn't crossed it. The slide is worrying for the White House, but it's probably not yet panic time. Ronald Reagan's approval numbers dropped well below 40% during the depths of his first term recession. If Obama's bad stretch puts him in the high forties or low fifties, that's not a crippling political problem. If he languishes there or drops further, it may become one."  Ha!  If there were a Republican president falling below 50% for the first time in a poll, that's all we'd be hearing about it, and we wouldn't hear the press giving him cover.  Also, Reagan fell down to 40%, but Obama's numbers are all about his personality and his charisma and all about his promise and all about his hope and change; and what's happening here is Obama has had a head-on collision with the reality that his personality is not enough to carry the day and inspire and motivate people to go out and do good things.

I've got two stories in the stack today. Both are reviews of Obama's trip, and they are devastating.  One is in the New York Times, I think.  The other one I forget where it's from, but they are just devastating.  He didn't accomplish anything.  He bowed to the Japanese emperor.  That's the last photo-op.  He was not able to accomplish anything.  The ChiComs are able to shepherd him around on their terms, not his.  He appeared weak, small, and he didn't even leave with anything prearranged to be announced as a positive on the trip, which is hard to believe.  Presidents usually don't fly off and ad-lib.  But with Obama and his narcissism and his being so self-impressed with his own personality, I guess he thought that would carry the day but apparently it did not. (interruption) Yeah, what do you have to arrange when you surrender?  A good question.

May I ask a question directed towards you? What was GW's numbers before office in disgrace where John McCain and Sarah Palin COULD NOT GET ELECTED. You might say that John McCain was not of Presidential timber, and that Sarah Palin had no idea where she was when she ran, but to me Obama was the only choice for me. I am glad that he won the election and will sit in the White House for four more years. Michael Joel Held

PS You might not have heard, but Bush is rated eighth WORST PRESIDENT in American History. By the way Buchannan was the worst.

Mikey ... Bush is no longer President ... This is only Obama's 1st year.  LOL !!!!

Liberals cannot get over how the Country has turned against their Messiah.  White Apologists like Frog And Mikey fell for his reading skills and empty promises.  Americans have seen that Obama is the same NO SHOW Senator he was when he was in Chicago.  No Transparency as promised.  No Plan.  No Direction.  Just more government in our faces.

His rating will continue to decline.

Funny thing is ... Palin still has more experience than the Community Organizer.

PS .. Not sure where you sources come from, but make up your mind.  First you said bush was the worst behind Buchannan.  Now, you say he's eighth.  And by the way ... Jimmy Carter was the worst President on Record.  :)

 I believe in CARE.

Courtesy - Attitude - Respect - Enlighten

The charisma of Obama has started to fade as it becomes more apparent with each month that he has nothing to offer in fixing the economy or the fast climbing unemployment numbers and the high rising deficit as he continues to spend the future generation’s budget with stimulus programs while calling for tax increases. He looks Presidential and he talks Presidential but has accomplished nothing of substance so far that has improved our nation. He has appointed a lot of Czars without Congress approval and thereby gone around the Constitution for a Presidential Cabinet administration to run the country. Yes, his poll numbers will continue to go down.

"YOU MUST NOT FEAR, FEAR IS THE MIND KILLER, YOU MUST FACE YOUR FEAR AND LET IT PASS OVER AND THROUGH YOU AND WHEN IT IS GONE, ONLY YOU REMAIN"

President Obama is down in the polls. The holidays have that kind of affect on everyone, just a little more depressed than usual.

The people will snap out of it, get a job and everything will be back the way it should.

Health Care Reform will be passed, the President will sign it into law and the Administration will concentrate on job creation.

All will be well my children, do not fear, do not despair, say your prayers and the evil voices will go away.

Whatever it Takes.

Obama's trip to ASIA - was as successful -

as his EPIC FAIL - lobbying for the Olympics in Chicago.

I noticed Obama wore the same COMMUNIST suiting as his hosts.

And I also noticed  - when he was being saluted by the young members of The Communist Army, Obama placed his hand on his heart - and smiled.

BYE BYE OBAMA
President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings have hit a new low of 45%, according to the latest Daily Presidential Tracking Poll by Rasmussen Reports. Rasmussen has generally tracked a tick or two lower than some of the other polling organizations, but is widely respected by political observers.
Like all presidents, Obama’s approval rating has trended downward since first taking office. What is noteworthy is the rate and steadiness of the decline, and the fact that it is Obama – who enjoyed such a pop cult of personality – who is experiencing diminishing public acclaim.
