What do you think about Obama signing 'hate-crime' bill into law where people who engage in non-normative sexual behavior will have more legal protection than heterosexuals?

Only in America, and only under Obama. More tension and more corruption. Can't wait to see the next law he  passes. How come we hear of these laws only after the fact.Shouldn't this be telling us something? What are we going to do now, turn the homosexuals and the heterosexuals against each other now since the races are not against each other enough?Lord help us all.

Life is beautiful! As Abraham Lincoln said "You can be as happy as you choose to be". So true, if you are a believer.

Why should one group have more protection than others? Everyone has their own choice, that is as it should be. This is America, we are all supposed to have equal rights. Obama is the most miserable catastrophe this country has ever known, he just can't leave anything alone. Furthermore, what the hell business it it of his what people choose to do in the privacy of their own home & in their life. I am so sick of him. He doesn't know squat about running a country so he is sticking his nose into our very private lives.

Most psychologists, as well as the American Psychological Assn., say that gays and their behavior are normal, certainly not deviant.  It is false to say that they will have more rights than do heterosexuals.

I think that the younger people, in general, do not share the bigotry shown on this board.  Gays are God's creatures and should have equal rights.

I'm not a lawyer and I have not read the bill, but to me it seems to be unnecessary. If I kill  some one because I hated him. I should be accused of murder, not hate! How do you prosecute some one who is guilty of hate? Are we getting close to mind control in this country?

If I say I hate some one, can I be hauled into court and be prosecuted?  Undecided
