Asked about “LIVE CHAT 1 PM: Nate Silver

Where is Obama in the polls in relation to where Gore & Kerry were at this time in August?

Nate, love your work! Was Gore in 2000 and then Kerry in 2004 up in the polls at this at this point in August during the previous elections -where were they in the polls after both of the conventions in 2000 & 2004? Also, do you foresee any significant difference of a bump in the polls if Obama were to pick Biden over Kaine? Thanks so much!
