Those are my thoughts. I welcome yours.

Obama: what ever happened to "YES WE CAN?"

During the early primaries with Hillary, Obama was running very hard with the phrase, "YES WE CAN".

I've been doing some reading & looking back at the last month worth of his activities.

"YES WE CAN" seems to now be, "Well perhaps"..."We may need to re-think that"...."It may be possible".

It seems that he started off all full of (as the saying goes) 'piss & vinnegar' and is now on heavy doses of Malox.

On the other side McCain, who started out fairly wish-washy, seems to have stableized his message and seems more on course.

As those of you who follow & take part in these debates know I'm not a McCain guy....I just think he is the lesser of two evils.

Has anyone else out these noticed the shift as I have described it?

I did. I think alot of people are starting to see what some of us saw right off. I had a feeling it would "all come out in the wash".

I've noticed that Obama is now partially agreeing with the ideals of McCain but in a political manner where Obama wants to appease the voters in his favor. What I find disturbing is at first, Obama appeared and spoke with assurance. Now there is more hesitation in his words, too many er's and ah's along with pauses to formulate his thoughts for what the people want to hear, not the knowledgeable responses as before. Makes me feel he's not as assertive for the position as president.

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

Fredst,

You already know my response to this question. Yes we will!Smile

I have something more important to ask you. I cannot seem to be able to post any questions to Yedda. I have tried to contact the help desk but I have not gotten a response from them yet. Do you know what the problem may be or what I could be doing wrong?

Be Blessed.

How many times will he have to convince you that yes we can. The man do not have to keep pounding it over heads for real people to believe that we can. What I have seen is in spite of Obama`s efforts it does`t matter what he said people are going to try and hold him things he said in the past not realizing that what we had compared to who we have now is 100% better and no past slogans will make me turn against this president.
