Obama and the Presidential Role Model

Do you think Obama is more like Carter or Raegan?

Which president do you think he resembles the most (not necessarily the above mentioned ones). Which president is his role model in your opinion?

its Just about me and her

Its kinda hard to make comparisons to past presidents because each one was different and its too early to say who president obama is like he's only been in office for almost 6 months he's gonna need more time before we say who he's like

I think that Obama most resembles John Kennedy. Kennedy relied on his winning personality to achieve his goals but he hardly left any positive legacy. There is hardly any substance in either. Bur it would not be fair to compare Obama to Carter since Carter left his office with our foreign policy in a shambles and domestic policy only a bit better.

I know Obama tries to be like Reagan ... good on TV and decisive.  But so far I think he's like Carter ... taxing and spending on a liberal agenda and relying on foreign good will.

He is more like Carter in that he was a lousy choice, is causing inflation, and lacks foreign affairs experience. In times like now, he's likely to be much worse with those qualities, though.

I don't believe that Obama is anything like Carter. He is like Reagan in the sense that he is a great communicator, however his politics most resemble those of JFK. He also has young children in the White House and people have always associated that with the Kennedys. Both Reagan and Kennedy were also very personally popular. The situation he is in is reminiscent of that that FDR faced, who might be the closest comparison. FDR was President during the Depression and was confronted with danger abroad. They are also similar in their abilities to calm the public during such crises. Ultimately, each President is his own man (and hopefully some day woman).

THAT WHICH DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.

Bull. Reality is, it will usually hurt like hell and leave you with a permanent limp.

We really are limited to comparing him to only the Presidents from FDR forward since few remember those who were before:  among those, I have to say he is more like JFK.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.

I think a combination of Lincoln and JFK. If he tries to be a Carter, I hear there is an opening in Planes, Ga. for a new peanut farmer. As far as being like Raegan, too early to tell.

Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

His role model is definitely Abraham Lincoln. He has a picture of him in the oval office. I agree that he is a combination of JFK and Lincoln.

Be Blessed
