President Barack Obama's approval rating is holding steady in the mid-50's, according to a new CNN Poll of Polls.
What does the president do to maintain his ratings?

Obama, with all his empty promises and rhetoric is becomming less popular even with the people who voted for him. They are learning more unpleasant things about him. He is destroying this country with his Socialist ideas and excessive spending. Now, he has been quiet about the new discovery about ACORN. He must have a big problem now. How can he criticize ACORN? After what ACORN had done for him to get elected. He has these ties with some shady characters, some Communists and his chosen Czars who the taxpayers don't know about. This Democratic Party is a disgrace !!!!!!!!!!

Obama is an empty suit. He came on like a rock star but his lack of experience shows more every single day. He's done more to divide this country than any other president. He should start running the country and stop running every TV station and late night show on television. He's a lot like Clinton in that they both fooled a lot of people.
Yes, but losing ground quickly. Too much, too soon. Americans don't want to become dependent on big government. Too bad that didn't pay attention before we go into this mess.
Con the American people. Obama took lessons from Slick Willy. That is why he has Bill's wife working for him.
Despite all of the complaining, president obama's ratings are pretty good. Maybe he is trying to do too much at the same time, especially on the health care issue. But if we don't get it done now, it will probably go back on the "shelf" for another 25 or 30 years. And who suffers - us!!! Actually, he pretty darn good at "multitasking" and will prevail when all is said and done.
No he is not. He is not listening to the millions of Americans that content with their current health care. The issue has been divertd from what the people want to a promise that he made during his campaign. The problem with the campaign promise is that Americans did not want government run health care to begin with. I agree there are areas that need improvement such as: People being dropped by their insuranne companies for pre-exixting conditions, bogus mal-practice law suits and college students who have been dropped by their parents insurance policies.
not inless you are anti american
