Obama Poised To Cede US Sovreignty Over To World Government ?

The Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul on Wednesday evening. Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, gave a scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change.

A detailed summary of Monckton’s presentation will be available once compiled. However, a segment of his remarks justify immediate publication. If credible, the concern Monckton speaks to may well prove the single most important issue facing the American nation, bigger than health care, bigger than cap and trade, and worth every citizen’s focused attention.

The following are remarks from Monkton's address:

At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it.

I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.

How many of you think that the word “election” or “democracy” or “vote” or “ballot” occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty? Quite right, it doesn’t appear once. So, at last, the communists who piled out of the Berlin Wall and into the environmental movement, who took over Greenpeace so that my friends who funded it left within a year, because [the communists] captured it – Now the apotheosis as at hand. They are about to impose a communist world government on the world. You have a president who has very strong sympathies with that point of view. He’s going to sign it. He’ll sign anything. He’s a Nobel Peace Prize [winner]; of course he’ll sign it.

And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you can’t resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties – And because you’ll be the biggest paying country, they’re not going to let you out of it.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, Establish Justice,; insure domestic Tranquility, to provide for the common defense, to promote the general Welare, and to Secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and to our Posterity, do ordain and establish the Constitution of the United States of America.

Marinerecondad, Although you are not worried about the Kioto Accords, which we are not a signatory to that treaty, might be right, it does worry me that we, the US is "throwing" so much CO2 into the atmosphere. Now, I am not a meteorologist, but I can say that there are some far reaching changes going on with our planet. Now, I am not an alarmist, or at least not yet. I do remember when I was a boy, living in the Bronx, that it began to snow the mid-November and continued to snow until the mid-April. Finally, at the end of April, all the snow on the curbs had finally melted.
Al Gore, vice-President under Clinton; and a Presidential Candidate on his own, has produced a film just on this subject where he claims that if we are not careful about continuing to rape the earth, there might not be an earth to rape. I do tend to agree with him. Since the "Industrial Revolution," from the early 1800's - to the present, you must admit that there have been severe climate changes that are going on this instant. Again, I wish you to know that I am not an alarmist, not yet. But even with those words, I still worry for future generations of human beings.
My recommendation, Marinerecondad, is that if you wish to see something that might haunt you when it is over, then watch Gore's movie.

I will leave you with one quote that is part of my story that was published in Northern Ireland in 1998, and is entitled, "Requiem For God." The quote comes from a Native American by the name of Vine DeLoria, and it is certainly a pointed quote, ".....The Christian doctrine of creation is that man receives dominion over the rest of creation,... [which is]...a directly opposite result from that of the Indian religions. The Christian religion’s failure to show adequate concern for the planet as a major factor in our present ecological crisis...[emphasizes that the] Christian religion downgrade[s] the world and its life forms in favor of the supernatural world of the Christian post judgment world of eternal life."

Vine Deloria, Jr., "God is Red."

This quote may just make you sit up and wonder if he is right!!!

Don't worry, be Happy!

Oh My God, One more thing to worry about.  Will it never end?

I'm afraid not as long as Obama is our President.  Four more years is too much.  He can do irreversible damage to our Country in four years.

I don't want to kill him, but can't we impeach him?

Friends,

I wrote to you this weekend about what I had read in the Copenhagen World Treaty on climate change that is going to occur in December.

WE as a nation are hearing virtually NOTHING about what is about to transpire. With all my heart, all my convictions, I believe that this is one agenda item on Obama's list of many, that will give you the change that we all have so desperately craved. RIGHT!!

If allowed to happen, this will Fundamentally change America as we know it.

Please take 4 minutes of your time and listen to this video. Then you judge.

The question is, "What can we do to stop this madness???"

B.

Thanks James for the information.
