As it was just passed by the SENATE FINANCE COMMITTEE APPROVES SEN.BAUCUS HEALTH CARE BILL WITH A VOTE OF 14 TO 9 the Rep hold out was Senator Snowe who now sided with the Democrats on the first of many votes to come before it becomes law. Now the Fines and Penalities are as proposed but yet to be worked out. Now you will work for less wages so your employer can pay for your insurance--that is if your working. But hold on this is only the beginning. The fine as preposed is $3,800.00 per family if you do not sign up for this health care bill. A family of 4 making $88,000.00 per year will pay $13,112.00 per year for annual coverage The Goverment would pay $2,528.00 per year leaving the family to pay 81% of the premiums according to the Kaiser Family Foundation Figures. If you make less than $29,326 for a family of 4 would be Eligable for Medicade premiums would be helped depending on income. Health care as of Tuesday 94% of non eldery less than 65 would be covered comparied with 81% today the cost is 1.5 trillion over 10 years. How it will be paid for 544 billion from new income taxes and a sir charge on singles makeing $280,000.00 per year and 500 billion in cuts from Medicare and Medicade. About billion from penalties from people and Employers who do not obtain coverage. Also Employers MUST provide insurance to employees or pay a penality of 8% of total payroll . And Reeamitance is limited to save money and punish hospitals if your reammitted within 30 days and fine the Doctors. Under this plan only Generic can be used No name brand Drugs at all. Doctors will be drafted into this plan and Penalities and fines and more taxes if they oupt out of this plan .
