Does the outside temperature go lower if you are travelling at speed. If you are on a plane, say the outside temp is -40 would it be this temp if you were not doing say 600mph?Also does this happen if you were in a car doing say 100mph.

Hi,
1.  The outside temperature is not effected by the speed
     of the plane.
2.  The higher your plane goes the lower the teperature is.
3.  Same applies when you drive.
4.  The wind cools you when you are exposed to it
(that's the reason a vetilator makes you feel more
comfortable when it's getting warm.... It doesn't
decrease the temperature outside but does cools
you (the amount depends on several factors:
The temp., your body's temp, wind velosity, etc.).
Best regards,
