OPK interpretation

My ovulation test showed 6 days positive result (3 day test line darker than control line followed by 3 days both test and control are the same color) in the last two months. Is this normal? When should I have intercourse? Should I trust the first positve result or the last positive result?

Fertility Stories - infertility experiences of people like you.

The LH surge is what causes ovulation within 12-36 hours. This is what is detected by an ovulation prediction kit, by the first positive test.

The ideal day to have intercourse if you're trying to conceive is the following day.

Save your money on the OPKs - once you get a positive, subsequent tests do not give you any information!

Good luck!
