OBAMA Package doesn't help!

Can someone tell me how giving all that money to big business & government groups will help the economy better than by giving all the money back to the tax payers, and letting them help by spending it on cars ,homes, local stores and bills!

This makes more sense and won't be lost or wasted buypeople who really don't care about US!!!

Better living through debt management .

It won't!

There is a terrific book on the Great Depression.  It is called "The Forgotten Man ," by Amity Shlaes and it details the means by which FDR needlessly prolonged the first depression with all of his spending, taxing and artificially inflating wage rates.  The parallels are kind of frightening especially because we have so many people on the dole now and we all have so much more debt now than the WWII generation did.
