Nude modeling for art class

Would you consider being a nude model for an art class if you needed the money (assuming no pictures could be taken during the class)?

Some people would be fine with this, others wouldn't.

The main consideration are what your career goals in life are and if this would cause you to have regrets about doing this.

If you were aiming to be a fine artist, this would probably be fine.

If you were aiming for, or beleive your career might run towards a corporate environment, a public sector position, or running for a political seat, I would advise against it.

Some might say that is the human form and their shouldn't be a problem with this.  That might be true, and you must be comfortable that you would have to fight with anyone who might use this against you.  Doesn't seem worth it.

Some might say that there will be no pictures.  That's fine too, if you can guarantee no one will sneak a cellphone pic, or that one artist is able to capture your likeness pretty well.  Imagine that artwork being framed in someone's house for 10 years, or photos of that passed around.

If you can live with that, go for it.

Best of luck!

I think I would. I would take one for the world of art though I'm not sure they would be so quick to recruit me for that purpose...

Wink.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

Lol,I actually did this type of modeling when I was in Brazil.Their views on nudity are far more relaxed than ours and I knew it would never get back to my family that I did it.They paid me very well and it was actually very interesting to see some of the drawings of me.Seeing my body through someone elses eyes was quite liberating.

Yes, I would model nude, for the right amount of money.  I have a good body and great breasts.

I think it has nothing to do with your career and future. It depends if you really need the money at that moment in your life . Nothing wrong in assisting art but I think it also varies between people and their point of view . If you are more liberal in your opinions and values then you believe that there will be no harm in this . If you are more conservative then you might respect your privacy more then anything and will probably will never do it. I guess most of us vary in between  carefully considering  the amount of money given for this kind of job .
