Novarel/HCG question

I had a Novarel shot on day 12 of my cycle. I didn't really have any of the symptoms immediately. However starting on day 25, I noticed my breasts were becoming swollen and tender. Today is day 28 and test was negative. Could those symptoms be from the shot back on day 12? It just seems to me that it should be out of my system by now and I might be pregnant??

You're probably right that the symptoms are not being caused by the Novarel. On the other hand, if you're taking progesterone in any form, it can give you pregnancy-like symptoms.

Usually by 14 days after ovulation, you would have a positive pregnancy tests if you're pregnant - and from what you've written, it seems that that amount of time has passed. If you still haven't gotten your period, retest. If your test is still negative, call your doctor to see what s/he recommends.
