My question concerns non responding windows tasks. How can I cancel the 20 seconds delay until the task actually close?. What is it good for anyway?
In Windows XP you have the option to automatically close all non responding windows: Open registry by going to START-RUN and entering regedit. Navigate to [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktopn] . In this look for value of "AutoEndTasks". If you want to enable automatic killing of non responding tasks, set its value to 1. to disable it set it back to 0.
Great, Thanks a lot.
