Bronchitis can take awhile to get over, however ask your doctor to give you a precription for Histenex HC. It really helped me. It stopped the cough, and really cleared my airways. It does contain codeine, so they are reluctant to prescribe it very often. But if nothing else is working, ask your doctor if you can try a small bottle and see if you have any luck with it. I swear by it, it works for me like nothing else does.
