Nokia 6280 video

I'm using Nokia 6280. the phone's camera is recording video and saving the files in a format that can i can watch on my computer only with a program that came with the phone (*.3gp). The Windows Media Player doesn't recognize the file. As a result, I can't send the videos to other people to watch. How can I convert those files to a more common format?

My exgirlfriend had this phone so I had to learn all of it's functions !

any way download Zwei-Stein Video Editor after that download and install free 3gp codecs intended for converting files that is in Quicktime Alternative.

no the procedure.

1) Launch Zwei-Stein (Click Start -> Programs -> Thugs at Bay...)
2) Press File -> Import -> Import Video Clip
3) Select type of files - "All files (*.*)"
4) Open your .3gp video clip.
5) Press File -> Export -> Video for Windows (AVI)
6) Enter filename.
7) Choose video codec. DivX, XviD or WMV9 are recommended.
8) Click OK! That's all.

Doesn't work. The 3gp file refuses to be imported.

When installing the Quicktime Alternative codecs, I was asked if I want to uninstall Quicktime from my computer. I said "no" and continued with the installation. Could that be the problem?

Sorry I posted this so late

Some friend of mine told a few days ago me about a similar problem he had, and he said he use to “play” with his QuickTime. So I guess it was the reason, anyway how does work now?
