According to Nokia, the 6280 has a series 40 platform user interface. What does it mean? I have no idea, but you can find demos of the interface here, and from what I saw there I can say that a) it looks quite ugly IMO and b) it doesn't look like the 6230's interface to me. I never owned a 6230, mind you, only played a bit with a friend's.

Series 40 platform is the software the drives a number of NOKIA phones including both 6280 and 6230.

By saying "What user interfaces does the NOKIA 6280 have?" are you referring as to how the user interface looks to a user using the phone, compared to 6230 or what are the underlying technologies (in case you are interested in developing applications for it Wink).

Rejected slogan #235:

Yedda - a brain the size of a planet.

Eran, while the original question was about user interface, do note that in the case of NOKIA, each "Series" has its own distinct look and feel. Series 40 uses the classic NOKIA l&f (still my own personal favorite), and has a very snappy feel to it, while the later serieses uses a fancier (and slower) user interface.

Eran, I'm referring to how it looks - like in that phone you had (or still have) there's a certain look & feel (and i think its series 60), and the 6230 has the "usual-NOKIA" look & feel which i like better.

My phone (the NOKIA 6600, which is 60 series based - running Symbian OS) has themeing support, which means that I can choose whatever look & feel I want to Laughing

According to this link from NOKIA's developers site, the Series 40 (S40 in short) does support personolized themes. It also mentions that the 6280 is based on the S40 3rd edition.

And I quote:

Media developers can deliver Web content, messaging content, content based on Macromedia Flash from Adobe, and streaming video and audio, using the latest industry standards. The user interface of Series 40 devices can also be personalized with Themes.

There are also some developer tools to create new themes, though I haven't looked at the procedure for packaging the theme and uploading it to the phone itself.
