Noisy keyboard

My roommate keeps complaining about my keyboard. He says the noise drives him crazy. Now, I would probably replace it with a new one if I could, but I'm using a laptop. Any solutions for this one, except attaching an external keyboard, which I don't have room for?

Silicone foldable keyboards are noiseless and can be conveniently accomodated on top of the laptop's built-in keyboard.

Earplugs, high density foam earplugs will help this. it's quite likely that the aspect of what bothers the room mate is the frequency and the decibel, plus the mere fact that (guessing) you're working when theyr'e trying to sleep.

So, buy him/her earplugs, good ones.

I'll try it out before the keyboard.

You can go to your nearest laptop center and replace your noisy keyboard.
