Is the Nobel Prize worth having anymore?

Background:

The unlikely and premature award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Barrack Obama leaves us all a little puzzled.  For example, did our infamous Democrat Boiler Room put undue pressure on the Nobel Selection Committee?

Or did ACORN, with their billions of dollars in un-laundered Al Qaeda drug revenues, apply undue influence on the people of Sweden?  Only this sort of falsely-gained prestige would grant Obama the cult adoration he has long demanded -- along with absolute authoratarian control over everyone on the planet.  Only Hitler and Stalin had such insane lusts for power.  Only Obama is ruthless and despotic enough to attain what his idols, Hitler and Stalin, failed to attain.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has much to account for also: what was the "backroom deal" that secured Obama the prestige of the Nobel Prize for work that has only been started -- and is most certainly incomplete.

Why did the Nobel Committee award Obama so hastily for work that will not see fruition for at least 35 years?

Perhaps there is more to the matter than Obama wants to see the light of day.  If this is yet another example of megalomaniac fraud, such as we saw last November, then there is more afoot than simple political misfeasance and unlawful conspiracy.

Question:

Can you trust so ruthless a politician with the lives and welfare of your family, or do you have the same rational doubts of Obama's character that so many of us share?

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

Like so many people around the world many of us in Israel were in total shock when we heard the announcement that he won. Personally, I have nothing against him and I am glad that he has put the effort in resolving the Middle East conflict as one of his top priorities. However actions speak louder then words. For him to receive the Noble Peace Prize for bold initiatives and not actions is not the purpose of this prize. It reminds me of when Arafat won.

First Al Gore, and now this.

President Obama has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. And the question is being asked all over America and the world: "For what?"

In reality, it's not for anything he's done other than giving in to tyrants and bullies at every opportunity, he hasn't really accomplished anything worth mentioning in the international arena, any more than he has at home- but rather, in Chris Wallace's phrase, for "not being George W. Bush."

Yes, the role of the United States in the world has changed under Barack Obama. It has diminished. Other countries don't have to take us nearly as seriously as they used to. And that's what President Obama got the Nobel Prize for.

At least some in the Uk , anyway, understand just how silly this award is- and what a mockery it makes of what was once a prestigious award. And in an unguarded moment, one White House staffer responded to the news by asking, "It's not April 1, is it?"

Ah, Rockmike, the battles are about to begin again. Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize because he is going diametrically opposite direction GW Bush and Company. He is reaching out feelers instead of using our military. That is why he DESERVES the Nobel Peace Prize. Michael Joel Held

I can hear it now. This time next year, the distinguished chairman of the Nobel Prize committee steps up to podium and reads aloud before the world;

The Nobel Peace Prize for 2010 is to be awarded to the legendary Osama bin Laden for his extraordinary efforts in bringing the plight of Islamic fundamentalism to the forefront of the global community and for his ability to force the world into unprecedented fetes of international diplomacy and capitulation of strong willed peoples of freedom, dignity and decency. His innovative use of non-nuclear devices which targeted only certain communities was an ingenious example of ones adherence to their true convictions and beliefs. The committee has attached special importance to Osama’s vision of and work for a global society governed by one set of rules based upon Islamic teachings. Osama, as a skilled tactician, has created a new international environment that places emphasis on the role that international institutions such as Socialist International and the United Nations can play in it. Osama has proven to us that dialogue and negotiations are preferred to a defense of freedom that refuses to tolerate the freedom of ones right to express themselves through basic and justifiable acts of terrorism. This is a point that Osama willingly sacrificed 19 of his friends to make.  And so today, we proudly bestow upon him an award that has been received by other great and accomplished statesmenf before him like Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Barack Obama and Yasir Arafat. Today the Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee awards, with great pleasure, the 2010 Peace Prize to Osama bin Laden.

These six things doth the LORD hate: yes, seven are an abomination to him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.

18 A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and him that soweth discord among brethren.

It has always seemed strange to me that a man who amassed a fortune through explosives should institute a peace prize.  nevertheless, obama is been very good for america and for me.

He is restoring white awareness by appealing to the subconscious of white people. Creating a deep anxiety.  This is peace creating in its result.  People are becoming aware and understnading the following:

Africa for Africans, Asia for Asians, White Countries for Everybody

The Netherlands is more crowded than Japan, Belgium is more crowded than Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve the RACE problem by bringing in millions of third-worlders and assimilating and intermarrying with them.

Everybody says the final solution to the RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to bring in the third world and assimilate with them.

Immigration, tolerance, and especially assimilation are being used against the white race.

All this immigration and intermarriage is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries.

In effect, all this immigration and intermarriage is a policy of genocide against the white race.

I'm an Obama supporter. I admit that openly. But neither do I know why he received the Nobel prize. Michael expressed the opinion that he received it because he opposes everything George Bush stands for. That may be true, as the entire world hates and despises Bush. I also think that his actions in ending the war in Iraq, or at least making a beginning to it, is another reason. I do think the Nobel prize is a valuable and worthwhile thing. I do think Obama has done good things, and will do more. I think he's the Franklin Roosevelt of our time, and exactly what we need, but no, I honestly don't think he should have gotten the Nobel. Yet.
