Noah's family

If only Noah's family was the only family that existed after the flood how do we exist? Are we all related?

Learning just like you.

It is certainly possible that all races we see today trace back to on family that repopulated the earth, starting at around the arguable biblical date of 3000-4000 years ago.  However, there are many objections to this claim, each of which must be examined individually.  Objections like:

1.  Could all of the races come from one family?

You can check out this defense of the biblical position - Where Did all the Races Come from?

In that article, they claim that the differences between the races are not that great, and Noah's family did not just include his own descendants, but his son's wives, who were from other families.

 2.  Does genetic ancestry research back up such a claim?

In Roots of Human Family Tree Are Remarkably Shallow, the author discusses how modern genetic statistics support the idea that we are quite possibly all related through one modern ancestor about 5000 years ago.

Allowing very little migration, Rohde's simulation produced a date of about 5,000 B.C. for humanity's most recent common ancestor. Assuming a higher, but still realistic, migration rate produced a shockingly recent date of around 1 A.D.

Of course, a Stanford University study indicates that our common ancestor is farther back (70,000 years), but the idea of a common ancestor is certainly supported by science.

 3.  Other things

I may be changing the direction here but. What if we are not what God intended us to be. Lets really look at Genisis and throw out church doctrine and deal with the scriputal account of the creation of man. First God created Man from the earth. God multiplied may by creating Woman. She was not made the same as man but was also created by God. So the text  be fruitful and multiply may mean something different? HUMMM. Hey the only thing we know is pro-creation. But God showed us how to multiply. WE just lost the knowledge how to do it by sinning. We never eat of the tree of everlasting life. I know where is this leading. WE lost our perfectness or oneness when we sinned with the fallen one. You know he was in the garden too. What was it that caused him to fall. He wanted  be like God. Well the only thing that kept him from being like God was he couldnt create. so the union between the fallen one and eve produced the us. At that point we were never perfect but was left to natural selection through pro-creation. The perfectnes of our original creation was tainted with other genes. I know that this will open a can of worms. BUt why couldnt it be so by scriputual writtings. Remember the son of God called all infirmeties devils and demons.

I was late for work this morning, because I got stuck in Zeno's paradox

Hmm, people are actually offspring of Eve and the snake... that's an interesting idea I never thought about it...

to be light hearted from time to time does the soul good. but if i understand what your asking then the serpant , the snake or fallen angle is the name used for the great deciever that was in the garden. some call him the devil. if you will really read the passages in genisis there are some question regarding  what the tree of good and evil actually was.  prior to that god gave man his first job that was to name all the animals and according to god he did it perfectly. if he did the job perfectly then one has to assume that adam had perfect knowledge! so to me how can you seperate the tree of good and evil from adams perfect knowledge. to understand what actually happen at that tree one has to be a detective and start at the consquence and work your way back to the tree. god said to eve i will increase your pains in child bearing. now take note of this. i will put enmity between your SEED and his SEED. have you ever had any religious leader  explain that to you. how can the devil have a seed? well he did with eve. now hold on and go back just a little further. what was the first thing adam and eve did when they took of the tree. what does man do when he sins. he tries to cover it up. what did adam and eve do. they covered up. what did they cover up.there eyes were open and they covered there private parts. have you often wondered how cain found his wife after he killed able. where did the city come from that he went to. has any religous leader explained that to you.becaause if you remember adam and eve were the first mankind. well if you can stand this next thing im about to convey to, you may just understand mankind a little better. the first born of eve was a female between the great deciever and eve. in the beginning of the listing of genology the females were never listed in birth rights. the sons of god found favor in the woman of man. so if you have followed up to this point and still dont understand then our genes were incorparted with the genes of the serpant at the tree of good and evil.  just read for yourself.
