I've just bought a NikeFit technical t-shirt. It has a couple of presewn holes in the back near the collar. One above the other. they measure about 1/2 cm in diameter. Does anyone have an idea what are they good for?
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given then to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is nothing.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe this is one of Nike's ways of making a shirt breathable. It might help to control sweat, or body temperature. Maybe the next time you're in a sports store, you can ask about it. It must be something new, because I've never seen holes in the neck before. It sounds cool though.

I assume you are reffering to the DRI FIT technology
Which is a microfiber that works to keep you comfortable - transporting perspiration from your skin to the outside for rapid evaporation. Work out. Sweat. Stay comfortable. Dri-F.I.T. fabric wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you dry, especially where light weight is important. As moisture is produced by the body, it moves quickly through the first (hydrophobic or water-hating) layer of the Dri-F.I.T. garment. This layer neither absorbs nor slows down the moisture; instead, it acts as a pump or syphon, delivering the moisture to a second (hydrophylic or water-loving) layer, which disperses the moisture across the outer surface for rapid evaporation. Dri-F.I.T. fabric - lightweight, breathable comfort.
Here is a web page with NIke's terminology about the different kinds of fabrics and their functions:
