Nicolas Sarkosy Cursing on Tape

Nicolas Sarkosy The French President was caught on tape muttering some chosen words against a man who refused to shake his hand. In all honesty the man was very rude and claimed the President would contaminate him. On the other hand we would expect a president to show better manners.

Could such an incident ever happen in the States?

Sure. It's not like Sarkozy thought he would be taped. This is definitely something I can see happening to Bush. It's true that politicians need to restrain themselves but we must remember that at their essence they are just like you and me.

I actually think this is a funny incident. I don't think it would have happened in American politics because there would have been too many people surrounding the president who would have grabbed any video feed or photos before they could have hit the news waves.
