6 thumbs up

the world is changing really fast and we get really much information daily from all sources like internet ,TV, newspapers.we are almost buried in the information world .regardless you like it or not.certainly we find the news not objectively prestented from time to time . but i still believe that the news we get now is much more reliable than 10 or 20 years ago.because speed of the information has been improved greatly as time goes on .more eyes are directed to the news.and thus the news should be more objective.

508 thumbs up

There are too many news items on TV news programs. Commercials take up a lot of time. Less time can therefore be spent on any one item. TV anchors are selected for everything except for the ability to analyze and explain. Peole do not read lengthy articles in newspapers because they have been conditioned by TV to take every item in short bursts. Most newspapers to save money buy their items from Reuters, AP, etc. In short everything is condensed with hardly any depth leading to simplistic explanations or none at all.
