Dear Nanadee,

   This HORRIFIES me, ANGERS me SICKENS me, to no end. This ANIMAL is NOT a human being, this THING, shouldn't be in a prison, the THING, doesn't deserve to even live. I think the THING, deserves to be tortured alive, just like the elderly woman.

I'm taking this VERY personally, and It's like a shot in the heart for me. Because this is what I do. I work with senior citizens and the elderly. I make SURE all of their needs are met, from cleaning them, when they no longer are able to clean themselves, checking their vitals, helping them eat, should they need ANY assistance. Help with ROM, ADL, meds, showering/bathing, help them with dressing and grooming, if they need or want me to.

This hurts. And when I start my new job Nanadee, I am going to make a print out of this, and show this to the RN who hired me. Right now I'm just to sick to continue. THANK YOU Nanadee for this post. This NEEDS to be out there and addressed.

   I'm SO sorry Nanadee, for sounding so cruel, and hateful. You are right, God IS the judge. After reading your post, I was just stunned, to say the least, and I wanted nothing more then to have this person tortured, just like the elderly woman. But I don't really have this kind of hate in my heart. This person is sentenced to life in prison now, and will never again hurt another. Thank you Nanadee, for gently reminding me, that God is the judge here. At least we can be sure, that this elderly woman is in heaven, having the time of her life, reuniting with all of the people she had lost during her lifetime.

   I'm sorry to here about your mama mae broken hip. No time is a good time, to break ANYTHING. And you're right, it IS very common, especially due to a fall. Give mama mae a gentle kiss on the cheek from me, and tell her that I'm thinking about her, and I'll keep her in my prayers.

And for you Nanadee, I'm giving you a kiss on the cheek, a great big huge hug, and my very happy heart!!  And that's for the gentle reminder.

   THANK YOU, for this post DB Lady, and I say AMEN to that!! You are a super nice and compassionate Lady yourself!!! Thank you, DB Lady, for ALL that you do, I KNOW how HARD RNs work. The long shifts, always on your feet, running nonstop, and for EVERYTHING else in between, my hat's off to you DB Lady,I have nothing but the DEEPEST RESPECT for you.
