New construction - residential

i'm building a new house, it will be ready in 6 weeks, does the builder arrange for the cable company to gets the lines run to the house so when i move in i just call the cable company to hook me up and choose my services? or am i responsible for having the lines run to the house?

This is something you should clarify with the builder. Some builders might take the initiative and do the arrangements themselves while others might count on you to take care of it.

I suggest you call the builder up just so there are no misunderstandings.
