I want to be a better daughter, and call my mother at least once a week. I think it is high time I let go of my teenager nonsense, and actually come to terms with the fact that while not perfect, she has always done her best, and with my best interests at heart.

If you want to make peace you don't talk to your friends, you talk to your enemies. - Moshe Dayan

I want to be a better professor. I want to spend more time giving extra help to students who need it. And I want to find other ways to motivate my students to do better in all their studies.

No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.

I do not believe in making New Year Resolutions. If I want to make a change in my life (and I have done so in the past), I do so I my calendar.
