New Wave Spring Medical Application.

Have an idea for a new "medical" application utilizing a wave spring.

Questions;  Must the spring be symetrical?  Could I have two identical sides, connected to each other (primarily for alignment), or better to have two independant springs.  Average total width around 3".  Springs themselves, around 1" O.D.  Height yet to be determined, but would eventually need at least 8 different O.D. Sizes.  Figure forces to range from 0-2500 PSI, or higher.  Amount of Lateral travel yet to be determined.  Most likely, less than 1/4".  Must be made of FDA aprovved material for human implantation. Look forward to your replies.
