New Prius or second hand?

If you buy A New Prius what would be its value within a year? I am not sure if to get a new one or second hand?

It always make sense to go second hand (if you can ensure quality control).  A car is not an investment, it is a consumer good/liability if purchased.

Every car losses more then 10 percent of its value in a year. If you are not sure maybe try a leasing service try it out before you buy it.
