New Mail Notification

How do you turn off the "You've Got Mail" alert while leaving the new mail arrival notifier still on? In other words, I appreciate the "ding" when a new email arrives in my inbox, but I find the "You've Got Mail" announcement when logging in to be very annoying.

There is no current way to turn just one of those sounds off. We will explore adding that feature. Thanks for the suggestion.
