Hi there, I would say to try to coax her out by putting a little food trail leading away from where she is. Also you could try phoning a local save a stray or the Vet they would probably have some good ideas. Good luck!

Thank you Suzie for your reply.  I was wondering if anyone else can help me with this.  The new Kitten is under my cabinets next to the dishwasher.  She cries once in a while and I have put some food and toys near there to see if she will come out, but she hasn't..She had siblings that she left behind, she is about 4 months old, and this is my first experience with a kitten.  I want to make sure i'm doing the correct thing by leaving her alone.  I only got her sunday oct 12.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If she hasn't eaten or had any fluid than I suggest you get in touch with save a stray or the Vet to ask for help as this would not be a healthy situation for her. Also she may be stuck or may not be able to find her way out. It was alittle unclear to me whether it is all open under your cabinets making it easy for her to get out of her spot or if it is an enclosed area with a little hole she found her way into.

7 thumbs up

If she is stuck and cannot get out the only thing you can do is get some help moving anything around that area of cabinets so you can get behind.  I really think she must be stuck because even if they are not hungry they will always gravitate towards water plus if she messes herself she will be more miserable. My son-in-law is an exterminator and gets calls like "A racoon went down my chimney, can you get him out" and they do that too, it is worth a phone call.  Also animal rescue in your town might be able to help.

When you do get her out, make sure you block the area she went into in the first place or she will do it again.

Hope all turns out well.

Carolyn
