Grandchildren have a habit of naming us. It is hard to stay Grandma and they will generally shorten it to one or two sylables ie: nana. To make a distintion between you and the other grandmother you might look in a good language dictionary for your ancestral heritage language ie:french grandam. common names would be grandmother, grandma, grandmom, gradmommy, or granny. Being a grandparent has been a most rewarding time for me and I hope you get to enjoy every mintue with them. I first became a granddad at 34 and they are still coming 20 years later. The one thing they all have in common is how blest I feel holding them in my arms.
