Check with the County and City offices in the towns in which you wish to do business. Hopefully, only the county in which your business resides, maybe your own home, is the county that will issue a business license. Unfortunately, some counties are trying to find sources of cash and will insist on charging a company a business license tax if you do any work in their county. Once they have you on the hook for a business license, they will then have you pay tax on gross income generated by the business, even if you don't make a profit!
