Any Netscape.net users?

I have a netscape.net account that for some reason, no longer allows me to log in.  Because its a "free" service, AOL does not support.  HOW CAN I GET HELP ACCESSING MY E-MAIL?

please let me know if you get any help with this.  God i just posted a similar issue but I thought my account has been hacked and someone has changed my password.

I have had the account for years and have tons of emails and contacts I cannot get because I cannot get into the account.  kuderske@aol.com if you hear anything.  Thank you.

Good Grief Friend!  Same exact issue I'm having.  I had to scramble to set something else up and begin changing passwords and accounts.  More trouble than its worth.  I think we can rule out a hacker, though.

I spent hours on the phone with the netscape people (of course, halfway around the world if you catch my meaning) and after going through their checklist, decided they could not help me.  Its really on AOL, since they actually own the free e-mail portion of netscape.

What does that mean?  Trying to find a live body at AOL that wants to speak to me.  We may have to pay for it, but its worth a try.  I'm gonna call their customer service number and see what happens.

Keep you posted.

Have you had any luck?  Have you tried calling the postmaster at all?  the number for them is 888 212 5537 or 703 265 4670.  I have  not yet had a chance to call them again to see if they would deal with me anyway even though im not an ISP provider in fixing the problem.  It seems the AOL web support team on yedda here is not responding to any of this either which is a dissapointment to me also as I was hoping maybe they could help me/us now that theres more then one perosn with the problem.  I am wondering if this is affecting any other people.

I wish I had some good news, but I spent the better part of yesterday getting the door shut in my face by both AOL and NETSCAPE.  Since I (we) are not paying members of either service, they said to look at the website and get our problem fixed there.  I actually did speak to a nice gentleman who actually took the time to talk to me, then his stupidvisor came on the line and told me to get lost and that they could not help me.  Needless to say, I am angry and frustrated.

I will give your numbers a try and see what happens.  In the meantime, I keep trying to log on with no success.

Best

No one seems to be owning up to who owns the Netscape.net e-mail.  Netscape says its an AOL thing, AOL keeps referring me to Netscape.  Both refuse to talk to me because I am not a paying member, and those who do talk to me say they can help me because the screen name I am using in "invalid".  DUH!  That's the error message I keep receiving when I try to log in!

I am getting the sinking feeling that you and I both have lost years worth of saved mail and important contacts.  I remember years ago I did pay for AOL, but absolutely hated the service.

I now know why I switched.  Customer service?  Fugggidddabbbbouuuitttt!

Will keep monitoring this site in case anyone has a fix.  Otherwise, I think we are in a fix.

All the best,

It is now July 30, 2009.  10 days ago I lost my netscape.net account and wonder if there is anyone who can help me?  I too have tons of email contacts and info in there.  It had gone from a netscape.net account to an AIM.com account and no one wll help me either.
